Overcoming yourself
You know what you need to do to move yourself ahead towards success. But you find that your actions are not getting you towards your goal. You have met a roadblock.How do you get around the blockage?
Having a coach or mentor can be the answer.
We can make our actions count and achieve focus on our daily tasks through accountability. Find someone to be accountable to, and set up a reporting strategy.
Sometimes we won't do what we know we need to do just because we know we need to do it. Involving a third party works because we will do things because of what others think about us.
Maybe your house is only "white glove clean" when company is coming. Maybe you only shave on work days. Maybe you only study when there is a test.
We care about people's perceptions of us. Use that self-knowledge as a tool to get you doing what needs to be done for your own success!

um, ya okay....but who is ACTUALLY going to go out of their way to find someone that will coach them? and keep in mind, are there really many ppl out there who are willing to coach ppl who can't overcome their useless habits? I think one day day it'll hit u. usually after some great tradedy. then u'll realize there's no escape: u just have to do what u gotta do to get where u wanna get. Until then, we can all relax....
